Prettymess - Greyscale Broadcast

Greyscale Broadcast is the much anticipated long player from Prettymess. It was hot on the heels of the band\\\'s debut EP Surface Glow that entered the AIR charts at #20 in May 2004 and saw single Rescue Me pick up rotation on Melbourne\'s Nova100, MMM and Triple J, as did its video on Channel V, and Rage.

Mixed by tone-master extraordinaire Shane O\'Mara (Tim Rogers, the Casanovas & the Icecream Hands), Greyscale Broadcast is the result of months of crafting and refining tunes that have developed over 3 years. Featuring eleven sparkling melancholic songs about life, loss and survival as a musician in Melbourne through the eyes of talented songwriter John Baxter, it highlights the lush harmonies and shimmering guitars that have become a trademark of the band. The 2010 reissue sees the inclusion of bonus tracks “Inspiration” and “Slip” , videos for “Rescue Me” and “Tripping” plus bonus interview footage.

Tracks: Leaving Look, Tripping, Rescue Me, Never Let You Down, All I Care About, The One, Falling Pins, Pictures, Astronaut, Escape, Consciousness, Inspiration, Slip

** Plus videos for Tripping & Rescue Me &bonus interview footage
