Skipping Girl Vinegar - Wasted

Fresh from their stellar performance at Splendour In The Grass, Skipping Girl Vinegar are catapulting into the second half of 2010 with the release of the brand new beast of a single; ‘Wasted’.

Inspired by a big night out at Melbourne’s famous Corner Hotel, live favourite Wasted makes its long awaited recording debut. In true indie hobo aesthetic, the recording features SGV playing alongside a drum kit found in a dumpster, trash cans, and other roadside hard rubbish. It was recorded in a beach house along the Victorian coastline and mixed in Nashville by US indie legend Brad Jones and hits radio Monday August 16th.

For the last several months the band have been bunkered down with producers Nick Huggins (Kid Sam, Seagull, Whitley) and Greg Arnold recording the follow up to their critically acclaimed 2008’s debut album Sift The Noise’. Wasted is a sneak peek of what’s to come on the as-yet-untitled sophomore album which is set for release in early 2011.
